Sean Self

An oil painter of more than two decades from New Orleans, Louisiana.

Sean has hitchhiked around the world, sat with monks in Satori, climbed the mesas to witness eclipses, fed the homeless, walked a thousand miles in their shoes, and he knows what it means to miss New Orleans.

He has professionally worked as a theater set carpenter and Mardi Gras parade float fabricator. A skilled outdoorsman, writer, and musician — embodying the true nature of an artist and seeker.

Sean creates an ongoing body of challenging, personal, autobiographical work spanning more than two decades.
